This is Buying Sandlot — the only newsletter that focuses solely on the business of youth sports.
We asked Buying Sandlot readers how their families manage youth sports schedules. 49 people responded. The answers show families moving between team apps, personal calendars, copied events and messages to other adults.
This is a small, self-selected sample from an audience that includes youth sports operators and parents.
These are directional findings from our respondents, not estimates for all youth sports families— the presumption is that answers skew to more engaged and knowledgable users. Each chart uses the number who answered that question; labels show the rounded percentage and response count.
Here are the results, followed by our take on what this means for platforms, consolidators, and others looking to better serve parents and families. We have a deep dive on this subject coming this week as well.
